Our Art Series was born in 2016 out of a love to celebrate special fabric collections that were not main stream more like art work than fabrics! So often we had clients super excited to be bold and do pattern but then retreat to something safe.
We saw these collaborations with leading fabric houses an opportunity to showcase not only some of our favourite designers but also the impact of what pattern and colour can have.
To launch our Art Series we created a stunning collection with leading interior designer, Anna Spiro.
Proudly Australian made and designed, we collaborated for a truly lust-worthy series of bedheads featuring Anna Spiro’s latest textile collection to grace bedrooms and homes with style.
“My bedroom is my sanctuary,” says interior and textiles designer Anna Spiro. “This new collection brings together some of my favourite new fabrics with Heatherly Designs’ loving care, bespoke craftsmanship and attention to detail.”
Georgie Leckey, Creator and Director of Heatherly Design has long admired the work of Anna Spiro and with her new textile collection, the dream of working with Anna’s unique range of colours and textures is now a reality.
“I am so proud to introduce this collection, the first of my Art Series,” she comments “The designs are truly unique and a true reflection of our combined taste and style, as well as a fresh take on our individual creative inspirations.”
The three stories literally let this design duo sing, offering a fresh feel and outlook. “We are committed to supporting Australian industries. When Heatherly Design approached us about this exciting collaboration, we jumped on board without hesitation. The handcrafted nature of Heatherly’s bedroom furnishings sits perfectly with our artisanal hand-screen printed fabrics. The fact that the entire end product is crafted here in Australia makes us very proud.” Anna Spiro adds.
Inspired by sweet summery days and fresh pastel tones, the latest in the Heatherly Design Art Series introduces a beautiful collaboration with the much-lauded fabric house Kravet, who are representing a new range of Kate Spade fabrics.
Synonymous with New York style and playful sophistication, this exciting new addition uses two of her most emblematic and timeless designs: ribbons and spots.
The Valentine bedhead highlights a new soft and curvaceous profile and shows off her iconic ribbon detail stitched onto a taupe linen background.
The equally as elegant Adele footstool highlights in the playful Kate Spade coin spot textured velvet features a contrast pipe in greige velvet adding an understated finish and a certain je ne sais quoi.
This very feminine collection is a breath of fresh air that encourages personal style with a dash of whimsical charm.

Heatherly’s Art Series – Florence Broadhurst sees one of our best-selling bedhead designs, the Fulham, upholstered in Florence Broadhurst Shadow Floral and a new footstool upholstered in Florence Broadhurst Tiger Stripe.
Both designs were selected by Heatherly’s founder, Georgie Leckey, and customised by Materialised, home of Florence Broadhurst, to achieve unique colours.
“There are many die-hard Florence Broadhurst fans out there and I am one of them!!” says Georgie. “To work with such incredible designs in custom upholstery for the bedroom felt so right.”
